Tojo The Dwarf

I work on the railway, I travel alot along the Birmingham-Wolverhampton route. I have done for around 10 years & I get to stare out of the window alot.

Between Sandwell & Dudley and Dudley Port Train Stations you can catch a glimpse of the Union Furnace Bridge and it's very noticable graffiti in large white capital letters TOJO THE DWARF.

Tojo is unknown, the age of the graffiti is unknown.

 

Deadly Sample

One of my favourite albums is The Future Sound Of London's Dead Cities. The second track of the same name opens with quite a haunting vocal sample which I have only just managed to find the source, not that I looked too hard. It's from the 1992 Film 'Deep Cover' starring Laurence Fishburne.

La Cabina (The Telephone Box) 1972

This short film came out in 1972, Directed by Antonio Mercero & Starring José Luis López Vázquez.
I'm not sure exactly how old I was, it was the early 70's so about I was around 7-8 years old. But I remember my brother & myself being blown away by it & always a little fearful of phone boxes thereafter. The soundtrack is quite dramatic too.
